SOWING INSPIRATION ~ practical potting shed adds nostalgic charm
August’s garden inspiration features Connie Risner’s potting shed. She found her inspiration on Pinterest when she saw an adorable potting shed. She showed the picture to her husband Paul, knowing he had some barn wood that could be used to build this adorable design. He was up to the challenge. Adding the red tin roof, attaching the overhanging porch and placing that eye-catching tin sign at the top gives this little building old world charm. Of course, the flower boxes filled with Supertunia Vista Bubblegum can’t be ignored. They are beautiful. Not only has Connie had fun decorating her potting shed; it’s practical. She plants at her workbench and keeps her gardening tools and supplies organized on the shelves that Paul built. This inviting potting shed adds nostalgic charm to the Risner’s yard.
