Break-In Suspect Tracked in Unadilla

On June 19,2019 , Unadilla Township Police received a report of a break in at a Hadley Road residence.  Officers responded to investigate.  A blood hound was used to track the suspect to a neighboring residence.  The suspect, 32 year old David Houk, admitted to police that he had entered the garage of the residence.

Houk,  of Stockbridge, was arraigned on Friday, June 21st on a charge of Breaking and Entering and a second charge of Attempted Home Invasion, 2ndDegree.  His bond was set at $30,000.

Houk was lodged at the Livingston County Jail pending charges.  The incident remains under investigation.  Anyone who has any information regarding this incident is asked to contact Investigator Hamlin at 734-498-2325.
