Coney Island breakfast, anyone?

Each year, never on the same date, a Coney Island breakfast for residents in the vicinity of Gregory takes place outside Gordie’s Power Equipment. This year’s event, held Monday, May 21, drew its typically sizable crowd of hotdog-hungry residents.

Owner Gordie Kunzelman grinned. “I just provide the facility.”

When questioned if the coney-dog breakfast was a fund-raiser, Kunzelman exclaimed, “No! It’s just kind of a tradition. Jack Potts and Richard Youngblood sponsor it.”

Why?

“It’s just for fun,” attendee Molly Howlett explained. “It’s fun. They do it.”
