On Sunday, January 5th, St Mary Men’s Club in Pinckney will be hosting our monthly "Country Style Breakfast", at the Parish located south of M-36 at 10601 Dexter Pinckney Road in Putnam Township.  Breakfast is served 8:30 until 11am and is a free-will donation.  Proceeds will be used to help support our Parish Grade School.  We have the best menu in the area which includes: fried or scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, French toast, pancakes, quiche, ham, pork sausage, our renowned “waffle station” and new to the menu Breakfast Burritos!     This event is part of a broader effort to foster dementia-friendly spaces where caregivers, families, and community members can connect, learn, and honor the experiences of those living with memory loss. This social impact theater piece is supported by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the Jackson Community Foundation,
    Dementia Friendly Services, Jackson County Medical Care Facility, and the United Center for Caring.
  • FALL MUSHROOM HUNT

    FALL MUSHROOM HUNT:  2:00 – 3:30 p.m., Sunday, September 21.  Come search the woods to find and collect fall mushrooms!  Afterwards, mushroom experts Phil Tedeschi and Kirk Coppernoll will look at your collection and identify those that are edible and those that are poisonous.  Bring a basket or paper bag and waxed paper for collecting. Cost: $2/person or $5/family. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Rd. in the Waterloo Recreation Area near Chelsea.  Program limited to 35 participants.  The building is closed so program will be entirely outdoors.  Please register for this program by emailing waterloonha@gmail.com with your name, phone number and number of people attending.
