Fatal motorcycle crash in Gregory kills Milford man

On July 28th at about 4:30 p.m. a motorcycle ridden by 64 year old Richard Sanglier of Milford collided head on with a pickup as they both rounded the curve at Gregory Rd and Wasson Rd in Gregory, MI. Mr. Sanglier then struck another pickup that was stopped at a yield sign waiting for the other vehicles to pass. Mr. Sanglier passed away before he was able to be transported from the scene. No one else was injured in the crash. The Unadilla Township Police Department, the Unadilla Township Fire Department, S.A.E.S.A. Ambulance and Livingston County Ambulance responded to the scene. They were assisted by Survival Flight and an accident reconstruction team composed of Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and an Officer from the Green Oak Police Department. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. At this time alcohol, controlled substances and excessive speed are not believed to be contributing factors.
