Friends of Library hosts meet-and-greet to introduce new librarian

Friends of the Library hosted a get-acquainted with new librarian Sherri McConnell on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Enthusiastic members of Friends provided a delightful collection of cookies. Those who attended had the opportunity to meet the new librarian and discuss issues of importance to them on a one-to-one basis.

McConnell hopes to begin a regular column with Stockbridge Community News, either posted, printed or both within the next month or two. She will be sharing some new features in the library and some old little-known information, plus a variety of topics of interest.
