Heritage Fall Family Fun Night hosts 150 or more kids

by Michelle Hilla and Jill Ogden

Care to wear a living snake necklace? Like to pet a pigeon? Learn about local public trails? How about learning to care for your teeth, body and self?  Sept. 27, Fall Family Fun Night at Heritage School featured it all, from a petting zoo to face painting to informational displays.

Sponsored by the Panther Cubs PTO and Title I, the community came together to help provide a fun, safe and educational event for students.

“We had a great turn out!” Director of Curriculum and Instruction Michelle Hilla said. “I would say at least 150 kids!”

“I am so proud to be a part of this community,” PTO president Jill Ogden said. “We reach out to local businesses and services for donations and volunteers to put on these events, and they always tell us, yes!”
