Kudos to Stockbridge High School’s Outstanding Fall Sports Athletes

Stockbridge Fall sports wound to an end with an impressive array of accolades:

“Our Boys Cross Country team qualified for the MHSAA State Meet for the 7th consecutive season,” Athletic Director Meghan Kunzelman announced, adding that they finished 22nd as a team. “Micah Beauregard finished 14th as an individual to make All-State.”

Kunzelman, who also coaches the Varsity Volleyball Team, couldn’t contain a broad smile. “The Varsity Volleyball Team was named to the Team Academic All-State by the Michigan Volleyball Coaches Association.”

In order to be considered, a team’s coach must be a member of his or her sports association and complete a time-consuming nomination process. According to Kunzelman, the Volleyball team has an overall grade point average of 3.5.
