Open Air Market of Stockbridge embarks on 15th season in May
Market welcomes new manager. Vendors prepare for opening day.
Vendors are ready—they’ll be offering a variety of goods, from just-picked produce and fresh cut flowers to homemade bread and locally made foods that highlight the local farmers and artisans of Stockbridge and the surrounding area. Each year the Open Air Market offers a variety of products and an opportunity for connection between the community and local producers. We look forward to welcoming new and returning vendors, musicians, kid zone activity organizers and visitors for another fun season.
The Open Air Market also promotes the consumption of healthy fresh produce, home-baked items, and vegetable products through its unique grant relationship with 5 Healthy Towns. The coupon program encourages qualified recipients to use their coupons to purchase a variety of healthy fruits and vegetables for their meals.
Since 2011, The Open Air Market of Stockbridge (OAM) has operated under the direction of Suzi Greenway. With big shoes to fill, Jackie Scheller was hired as the new market manager in February 2025. Jackie comes to us with a vast background in business and education. Marketing is her expertise and her goal is to provide an affordable and supportive business environment while working to improve marketing opportunities for vendors. Each year, dozens of vendors call the OAM home for the summer and fall. New vendors are always welcome. The application and information is on the website.
The OAM is supported by multiple grants including the Stockbridge DDA and 5 Healthy Towns.
