    Travel Michigan, maybe even the United States, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a lovelier garden cafe than we have right here in downtown Stockbridge. Don’t know where it is? Just follow the vibrant display of gold-and-yellow black-eyed Susans along the main drag, and this Friday from 6:30 to 9, Cravingz will be hopping to the live acoustic music of Phil Tolliver.

    MASON AVIATION DAY

    Chapter 55 will host MASON AVIATION DAY on Saturday, August 19.  We will serve up our wonderful Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.  There well be a Grilled Steak Lunch (or BBQD Pork Sandwiches/Brats/Dogs) available from Noon to 2 p.m.  Helicopter and airplane rides will be available (weather permitting).  Many homebuilt, antique, warbird and general aviation aircraft are expected throughout the day, along with a variety of displays and exhibits.

    All Chapter 55 events are held at Mason Jewett Airport; Eden Road @ Kipp Road (south of the Ingham County Fairgrounds).  Admission and parking for all events is FREE.  Donations benefit the Newberry Aviation Scholarship Fund.

    Do you like to play Euchre?  The Dansville Community Center at 1317 Mason Street in Dansville will be having Euchre Night on Saturday, August 5 & 19 starting at 7pm.  A donation of $5 per person is asked to help pay for expenses for the night.  Prizes for high score, low score, and most lone hands will be awarded.  Beginners are welcome.
