    Summer is here! Youth are invited to join SRSLY in Vet’s Park on Mondays this summer for games and other fun! Stop by anytime from 6-8 pm on Monday, July 8, July 22, and August 5.

    • July 8 – Family Night Out! We’ll have a bunch of lawn games to play, plus free ice cream!
    • July 22 – Tie-Dye Night! Feel free to bring a white clothing item of your own, or we’ll have some shirts to dye.
    • August 5 – Water games and activities! Remember to bring a towel.

    Our next general meeting is Tuesday, July 23, when we will welcome Dennis Skupinski from the Michigan Military Heritage Museum in Grass Lake, who will speak on the topic “Michigan in World War I: Stories of the Michigan Homefront.” Dennis will share the stories of 20 people who had an impact on Michigan and the war, from engineering and manufacturing to the peace movement and many other aspects. Come at 6:30 for coffee and refreshments, with the presentation starting at 7! As always, this will be in the lower level of the historic Stockbridge Township Hall.

    The Market welcomes a new vendor this week. The Shafer Family Farms will be bringing frozen chickens and pork products along with goat’s milk for pets only. Also at the Market, you’ll find tomatoes, potatoes, greens, carrots, blueberries, squash, herbs, cheese, honey, bread, pies, baked goods, soaps, herbal lotions and greeting cards.

    Market Music is a local favorite, the Tom Fog Band, from 5:30 to 7 pm.
