Dear Readers,
Congratulations to Roberta Ludtke of Stockbridge, March’s winner for Garden of the Month. Can you imagine Roberta’s delight when she saw those baby blue Robin’s eggs nestled in the Begonia boliviensis? The yellow and pink coleus with a dainty purple flower really makes this grouping of flowers eye-catching. This cluster of flowers was tucked away from most foot traffic, but ensuring the safety of the eggs was a little risky. Maybe all those beautiful colors acted as a camouflage.

After nearly three years, this concludes our garden contest. Find the full page display of monthly winners in this edition and select your favorite garden. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to Tulip Tree Gardens funded by Dorothy Craft’s Sewing and Alterations and Tulip Tree Gardens.

Later this year, we are planning a new feature on gardening, and we are looking forward to sharing our readers’ ideas, tips, inspirations and photos.
