Favorite Sports Memory – I don’t have a specific favorite memory of my high school sports career, but all of the soccer bus rides to away games are what really made each season special. They were always so much fun, with games, singing and hair braiding. I feel like these bus rides really helped us bond as a team, and also helped us form close friendships with each other.

Favorite Teacher– My favorite teacher has to be either Mr. Rickli or Mrs. Villegas. They weren’t only amazing teachers, but they also had a positive impact on me outside of the classroom. Mr. Rickli showed me how I have to believe in myself because I am capable of so much. He pushed me and made me go out of my comfort zone to accomplish things I never knew I could. Mrs. Villegas taught me how to be kind to myself and have courage within. She showed me kindness and compassion, which made me feel better about myself, and appreciate all of the great things I can do. Because of them both, I was able to have the confidence and courage to do anything I set my mind to.

Favorite TV Show -Modern Family

Favorite Movie– The Perks of Being a Wallflower

After School Plans – I plan on attending Central Michigan University in the fall to major in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

Thank You – I would like to thank my parents, Bryan and Corinda, for their endless support and encouragement. They came to every single one of my games and cheered me on, no matter the weather. I also want to thank my soccer teammates that have come and gone throughout my high school career. I always felt so welcome on the team and it really made the sport that much better to play. And most of all, I would  like to thank my soccer coach Jeremy Killinger for being a teacher and role model in and out of season. I couldn’t have done any of this without everyone’s relentless support and I am forever thankful.
