Stockbridge Area Wellness Coalition wants your ideas!

The Stockbridge Area Wellness Coalition is seeking proposals for projects and programs that aim to improve the health and wellness of Stockbridge School District residents. The Coalition, one of five that are a part of the 5 Healthy Towns Foundation’s 5H Project, is made up of community members and organizations that meet monthly to work together to support initiatives that fit into four key elements:

  • Move More
  • Eat Better
  • Connect with Others
  • Avoid Unhealthy Substances

Each year the Coalition receives funding from the 5 Healthy Towns Foundation to develop a Comprehensive Wellness Plan. As we work on developing our Year 7 Plan, covering the period from September 2018 – July 2019, we ask for your input and ideas! Projects should focus on one or more of the above elements, should be measurable, demonstrate fiscal responsibility, and have an important impact on wellness.

We’d appreciate your input by April 5th, as we work to finalize and then prioritize the suggested interventions. You can email your thoughts to Ashley Tomasi ([email protected]) or join us at our next meeting on March 15th. Stockbridge Area Wellness Coalition meetings are open to all community members.

The Coalition meets the third Thursday of the month at 305 W Elizabeth Street in Room 108.
