SUSPECTED MARIJUANA GROW OPERATION RAIDED IN THE VILLAGE
The Stockbridge Police Department and the Michigan State Police – Marijuana and Tobacco Investigation Unit (MTI) executed a search warrant at the ATA building located at 4983 Bird Dr. in the early morning hours of July 7th. The SPD had been investigating suspicious activity at the building for over 6 months before reaching out to the MSP- MTI unit for assistance.
The SPD filed a report with MSP-MTI who then requested a search warrant with the Attorney General’s Office. The search warrant was served and a man was present at the time. The investigation is being handled by the State Police. The man’s name is not being released pending any formal charges.
The Village of Stockbridge opted out of the Recreational Marijuana industry in 2020 as required by law.
