Track Teams Sweep Perry

The boys’ and girls’ track and field teams pulled off a sweep of the Perry teams last week with the boys winning 77-51 and the girls 97-29.

Micah Bolton had a huge night with four wins. He won the 800, 1600, and 3200, and was part of the winning 4×800 along with Collin Cook, Brock Rochow, and Brendan Wright.

Jonah Huskey-Wright and Damien Hayes were part of the winning 4×100 with Ethan Bradley and Jude Casto and part of the winning 4×200 along with Jason Gruber and Ethan Monaghan.

Monaghan was a three-time winner. Along with the 4×200, he also won the high jump and pole vault, while Kaiden Samek won the shot put.

Second-place finishes went to Casto in the 100, Hayden Ellsworth in the 400 and discus, and Wright in the 800, 1600, and 3200.

Kaitelyn Walker and Rylee Tolson were in on three wins each to lead the girls.

Walker won the 100 and 300 hurdles and was part of the winning 4×400 with Sidney Gipe, Brooklyn Rochow, and Tolson. To go along with the 4×400, Tolson won the 800 and 1600.

Gracee Robidou was a dual winner by taking the top spot in the 200 and high jump. Kristin Wilde also won two events by winning the 400 and being part of the winning 4×800 along with Gipe, Ava Vaccaro, and Anna Ransom. Rochow won the 3200 and Megan Mackinder won the discus with a PR.

Robidou was second in the 100 and part of the 4×100 that finishes second along with McKenzie Hatfield, Samantha Nothnagel, and Audrey Austin. Rochow was second in the 1600, Wilde in the 800, Vaccaro the 400, Gabrielle Heath 200, Ransom 3200, Mackinder the shot put, and Hatfield second in the high jump and long jump.
