Stockbridge Digital History Board puts local retrospectives a click away

If Mom or Dad went to Stockbridge schools, chances are good a little research can reveal a bit more about them, thanks to the school’s recent online improvements.

A visit to yesteryear is only a click away according to Jeff Trapp, high school principal. After months of research and documentation, the Digital History Board is up and running on the “our schools” page of the Stockbridge school district’s website. Look for it at the bottom center of the high school’s page. It can be found at: www.panthernet.net and then click on the “Our Schools” button.

From the main webpage, click on Jr/Sr High School and look at the bottom for the link. (Circled)

“This Digital History is a work in progress and an ongoing project,” Trapp said. “Corey Baird and his leadership students will continue to update and add to it.”

The board features options for exploring archived photos and information by academic, athletics and class year. Athletic schedules and awards, sports records and awards, and—for the fashion conscious—the class composite photograph afford a look at hairstyles, clothing and accessories of the time.

“One nice feature for class composites is that a person can search by name,” Trapp said.
