Stockbridge is a hopping town on the weekend of the Tractor Show and Harvest Festival. Crowds come out to take in what’s new and what’s old at the Tractor show, including a few machines that can only be described as giant behemoths. Those who showed up were not disappointed. This year’s Tractor Show included 75 farm equipment exhibits by 68 exhibitors. The oldest tractor was a Rumely Oil Pull, owned by Larry Middlebrook. The newest tractor was a 2017 9RX Four-Track John Deere owned by Watters and Sons.

The event that brings smiles all around is the Kids Tractor Pedal Pull. This year’s top finishers, by age group, are listed below and pictured first.

Although he aged out of the pedal pullers competition(!), 89-year-old Myrl Hawley likes to show off his mini John Deere tractor (former pedal tractor converted to gas powered). This was the smallest tractor in the show. Hawley owns 137 pedal tractors.
