Second Annual Stockbridge Area Tractor Show – Day 2

Day two of the second annual Stockbridge Area Tractor Show at the Legion grounds began Saturday, Sep. 29 with a Cub Scout pancake breakfast and other activities.

Before noon tractors lined up for the parade up to the Township Square.  The route progressed from the American Legion Hall on Center Street north to Main Street one block. The brightly-colored, putting and chugging assemblage then returned south past the park to Center Street, and ultimately reentered Legion grounds.

Stockbridge Police officer Josh Watson, who led the procession, confessed this was his first tractor parade. More than 40 tractors of various ages, shapes and sizes participated. Male and female drivers ranged in age from young to old, and some came dressed in costume.

The parade ended with a SAESA vehicle and ambulance.
