    CHELSEA, Michigan (Dec. 9, 2019) – St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea will offer Senior Fit classes at Emanuel United Church of Christ, located at 324 W. Main Street in Manchester, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.  Senior Fit is a FREE exercise program for people age 55 and over that encourages senior adults to exercise their way to a healthier lifestyle.  The program features standing and chair exercises that build strength and flexibility, as well as improve balance and cardiovascular fitness.

    Space is limited and registration is required. Please call 734-593-5600 to register.

    The Men’s Club of St Mary’s Catholic Parish in Pinckney is proudly sponsoring its annual Fish Dinners on Friday evenings during Lent.  The dates are February 28, March 6,13,20, 27 and April 3.  The Parish is located south of M-36 at 10601 Dexter Pinckney Road in Putnam Township.  Our delicious dinner is served from 4:00 to 7:00pm and includes baked or beer battered fried fish, choice of French fries, scalloped or baked potato, beets, coleslaw, homemade macaroni & cheese, cut vegetables, jell-o, homemade rolls & dessert, assorted beverages as well as 3 cheese pizzas for our younger guests. Cost is $11 adults, $10 seniors, $5 children (under age 12) with a family (immediate only) plan available at $37.     We will be outside at the First Presbyterian Church of Stockbridge Christian Education (CE) Building, located at the corner of Main Street and Water Street from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, April 4. This is our last winter market in 2020. Our Opening Day On-the-Square is May 1st with vendors’ availability limited due to circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.

    Market items available are: pork and chicken orders, maple syrup, bread, pies and baked goods. Persons with eggs are welcome to come to sell.

    The following items are available for order: handmade bar soaps, liquid hand/body soap, lotions, scrubs, shower steamers, candles, etc. Also available: Easter egg bath bombs in a 1/2 dz. egg crate (super cute).
