Redistricting Reform Town Hall - Voters Not Politicians Presentation and Signing Opportunity

    3:00 pm-4:30 pm
    11/12/2017
    Stockbridge Town Square
125 S Clinton St, Stockbridge, MI 49285, USA
    https://stockbridgecommunitynews.com/event/voters-not-politicians-presentation-and-signing-opportunity/

The Voters Not Politicians ballot committee is hosting Redistricting Reform Town Halls across Michigan, and we’re coming to Stockbridge!

This is an opportunity for voters to learn about gerrymandering and discuss solutions. It will start with a fun and engaging introduction to the facts, then move into a discussion to hear from you and your neighbors.

Like any good town hall, your ideas and concerns will be heard, your questions answered, and your input used to keep building a campaign that reflects the will of all Michigan voters.

Admission is free, and all Michiganders are welcome (including young ones)! However, space is limited, so please RSVP!

Lights will be hung  on the historic town square in preparation of the 6th annual Festival of Lights. This year’s event has some new and exciting additions, including our new “Tree Gala”, in which businesses decorate their own 6 foot artificial tree and line the steps up the Town Hall.

This festival is FREE family fun and made possible by support from The Village of Stockbridge, the DDA, the Stockbridge Area Chamber of Commerce and Chamber members. Special thanks to all of our local businesses who are participating this year!
