    Dansville Community Center Exercise Classes

    4:00 pm-8:00 pm
    05/09/2017
    Dansville Community Center
1317 Mason St, Dansville, MI, United States
    https://stockbridgecommunitynews.com/event/dansville-community-center-exercise-classes/
The Dansville Community Center is pleased to announce these new exercise classes!  We are located at 1317 Mason Street in Dansville.  For more information contact 517-851-7853.

Yoga is a terrific way to increase flexibility, strength, and muscle tone with a low impact workout.  Other benefits may include improved respiration and circulation, and many people report improved stress management.  Yoga classes will meet on Tuesdays starting May 9, at 4pm. Cost is $5 per class.  This class is led by Julie Kirkpatrick.
These two classes, Tai Chi and Krav Maga are led by Paul Christianson.
Tai Chi is great for people who would like to improve their balance, strength, coordination, or focus with a low impact, slow motion type of exercise.
Excellent for those with balance and coordination issues, joint problems, heart problems, stress or anxiety, and can often be helpful in managing chronic pain.  Good for all interested ages and stages of health.  Tai Chi classes will meet on Tuesdays and Fridays starting May 9, at 6pm.  Cost is $5 per class.

Krav Maga is for ages 15 and up, with the maturity and self-restraint to properly manage the skills that will be taught.  This martial art is an energetic form of exercise that will teach self-defense skills.  Classes will provide a cardio workout and strength building while also focusing on self-control and skill
development.  Krav Maga classes will meet on Tuesdays and Fridays starting May 9, at 7pm.  Cost is $80 for a 6 week session.
