Panthers Struggle Against Pinckney on Senior Night

The Stockbridge boys’ basketball team hosted Pinckney on Senior Night Friday, February 28th and fell to the Pirates 68-48.

The Pirates jumped out to a 20-10 lead after one quarter and continued to hold a 10 points lead at the half 29-19.

The Panthers continued to struggle in the third putting up just 11 points. Tylin Ayers scored six and Chris Hall five as the Pirates lead grew to 46-30 after three.

Hall scored 11 points in the fourth, but it wasn’t enough as the Pirates pulled away for the 20 point win.

Chris Hall scored his 1000th career point against Pinckney Friday night.

The highlight of the night came in the fourth quarter when Hall scored his 1000th career point with a free throw. Hel led the Panthers with 24 points on the night.

Ayers finished with 10 points, Brandon Nelson five points and eight rebounds, Jeremy Pilch four, John Morris three, and Noah Robidou two.

The Panthers fell to 13-6 overall on the season
