Volleyball Finishes Third in GLAC

The Stockbridge volleyball team continued its second half surge and earned a third place finish in the GLAC.

The Panthers took part in the GLAC Finals which pitted the top four teams in the GLAC regular season Saturday and they came home with a 1-2 record, which clinched the third place finish.

The finals featured D2 top-ranked Lakewood, D4 third ranked Lansing Christian, Stockbridge, and Maple Valley.

The Panthers opened with 22-25, 12-25 loss to Lansing Christian and a 10-25, 8-25 loss to Lakewood. They ended the day by sweeping Maple Valley 25-20, 25-22.

Grace Hall had a big day with 27 digs, 18 kills, and 11 points, while Madison Mazuca had 19 assists and 15 points. Arin Szumlinski added 34 digs and Alaina Kellenberger 10 kills.
Stockbridge won two of three at the Whitmore Lake quad.
They beat East Jackson in three sets, swept Whitmore Lake and fell to Livingston Christian in straight sets.

Hall led the team with 22 kills and 15 points. Maddy Dalton had 15 assists and 11 points and Szumlinski 44 digs and 11 points. Mazuca led with 24 assists, Rogozinski 11 points, and Kellenberger 10 kills.
