Wrestlers 12th at Blissfield Invite

The Stockbridge wrestling team opened its season with a 12th place finish out of 17 schools at the Blissfield Invitational December 14.

The Panthers finished with 36 points in the meet won by Napoleon with 197.5.

Kael Bunce led the Panthers with a second place finish by going 3-1 at 152 pounds.

Jaidehn Conant (152), Daimen Compton (160), Matt Killinger (171), and Kevin Killinger (189) each went 1-2 on the day for the Panthers.

Stockbridge dropped a pair of dual meets at a home tri-meet December 12.

The Panthers fell to Laingsburg 48-30 and Grass Lake 54-24.

Kevin Killinger picked up a pair of wins at 189/215 to lead the Panthers.

Also picking up wins for Stockbridge were Caden James at 145, Compton at 160, Matthew Killinger at 189, and Bunce at 160.
