Hannah shared her enthusiasm and knowledge about her 4-H projects with Ingham County Fair attendees.     The season’s best is here at YOUR local market. Cherries, potatoes, greens, carrots, and much more. Honey, cheese, bread, eggs, maple syrup, pies and baked goods, greeting cards and herbal ointments will also be for sale. Grace with be with us again with recipes and nutrition information. Fresh TOMATOES, the first of the season, will be at the market!

    Brown, Groth and Falk perform from 5:30 to 7 pm.

    We have noticed a lot of dogs being brought to the market so we are starting a Dog Station where we will have fresh water and a bowl for your pets.

    HEAT ADVISORY:

    The market will be open but we will be careful. The Township hall will be open as a cooling station in the basement and we will have cold water and fans at the market. All vendors will be in shaded areas also.

    A free workshop, Legal Tips for a Caregiver’s Toolbox, will be presented at the Monroe Center for Healthy Aging, 15275 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, MI 48161 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 20. Caregivers seeking information on the differences and responsibilities of power of attorney, finances, conservatorship, guardianship and other important issues are encourages to attend.
