St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Farmers Markets
    Hosted Wednesdays and Saturdays

CHELSEA, Mich. (May 15, 2017) — Two Chelsea-area farmers markets, sponsored by St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea and The Wellness Foundation, opened earlier this month and are being held each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Chelsea Farmers Market and the Bushel Basket Market bring fresh, locally grown or produced food to area residents at an affordable price.

Both farmers markets have temporarily changed their regular location, as construction for a new and more permanent farmers market will be built in the coming months at the Palmer Lot.

The Bushel Basket Market runs Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and is located on the corner of M52 and Old US-12, in the Chelsea State Bank parking lot. The Chelsea Farmers Market is being held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is located in the lower library parking lot along Park Street.  Parking will be behind the Purple Rose Theater (128 Park St., Chelsea, MI 48118) or on side streets.
