Stockbridge Community News to celebrate 10th anniversary with online fundraising auction

Stockbridge Community News (SCN) is celebrating 10 years of serving the community with an online fundraising auction scheduled for November 7–13, 2026.

The auction will feature a variety of items donated by local businesses, organizations and community members, including gift certificates, handmade goods, gift baskets, services and experiences. All proceeds will benefit SCN and help offset the rising costs of printing, paper, postage and production.

Since its founding in 2016, SCN has worked to keep residents informed and connected through local news, community events and stories highlighting the people and organizations that make the area unique. The nonprofit newspaper, operated primarily by volunteers, is delivered free of charge each month to more than 9,000 households throughout the Stockbridge Community Schools district and surrounding communities.

As production and mailing expenses continue to increase, fundraisers such as the anniversary auction play an important role in helping SCN maintain its free monthly distribution.

Online bidding will open Saturday, November 7, at 8 a.m. and close Friday, November 13, at 7 p.m. Auction items will be available for pickup on Saturday, November 14, with additional pickup details to be announced.

Community members can preview auction items and register to bid by visiting https://2026SCN.auctria.events. Additional items will be added as the auction approaches.

Businesses and individuals interested in donating an item or supporting the fundraiser may contact SCN at stockbridgecommunitynews@gmail.com.

SCN thanks its readers, advertisers, volunteers and community supporters for making the past 10 years possible and looks forward to continuing to serve the area for years to come.
