    BEGINNING BIRDING: 2:00 – 3:30 p.m., Sunday September 14.  Join Michigan Master Naturalist & Haehnle Sanctuary Chairman Steve Jerant for an introductory-level birdwatching event.  First-time and young birders are encouraged to attend.  We will review binocular basics and learn some simple ways to see & hear birds.  Bring binoculars if you have them.  Don’t have binoculars?  No problem!  Jackson Audubon is providing several pairs of binoculars to loan for the walk. Cost: $2/person or $5/family.
