    Looking for something healthy, fun and free to do this spring? Get basic kitchen supplies and learn practical cooking with a pro. Six classes held on Mondays: April 12, 19, 26 and May 3, 10, 17.

    • Held in downtown Stockbridge at old Back Street Restaurant
    • Teacher Jackie Scheller, Vocational teacher/former restaurant owner.
    • Class size limited to 9 students per class.
    • Call Stockbridge Community Outreach to register, 517-851-7285.
    • Choose from two times: 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 – 7 p.m. (same content).

    Registration deadline is April 5, 2021.

    POWERFUL TOOLS FOR CAREGIVERS will benefit you whether you are helping a parent, spouse, friend or someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country. This workshop focuses on self-care for you, the caregiver. The workshop will not focus on specific diseases or hands-on care.

    In this workshop, learn how to:

    • Take care of yourself
    • Reduce stress and help you relax
    • Make tough decisions
    • Reduce guilt, anger and depression
    • Communicate effectively
    • Work with family, providers and care staff
    • Set goals, problem-solve and more!

    Cost is FREE but donations are accepted.

    Workshop via zoom meets on Thursdays, April 15 to May 20 at 1:00 – 2:30 pm.
