    Celebrate Blacksmiths, Soldiers and Michigan’s Log Cabin Day at the Waterloo Farm Museum and Dewey School. Working blacksmiths will demonstrate and display their practical and artistic wares. A Civil War encampment will be on grounds depicting life of a soldier. Visit Dr. Roger in the Log House as he talks of medical practices and hear the tale of Kistie’s flour barrel. Watch socks being made on a 19th century sock machine. Tours of the 14 room farmhouse and 9 outbuildings will be available. The schoolmarm will explain classroom practices and rules at Dewey School.
