    10:00 am-2:00 pm
    08/12/2017
    https://stockbridgecommunitynews.com/event/young-eagle-aviation-days-3/

Experimental Aircraft Association – Chapter 55 is pleased to invite pilots and non-pilots alike to join us as the Chapter hosts a variety of events this summer.

Young Eagle Aviation Days from 10 a.m. until 2 pm. on Saturday, June 10; Saturday, July 8, and Saturday, August 12.

Local pilots will be offering area youngsters ages 8 to 17 an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane (weather permitting).  These flights are offered FREE of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member pilots and volunteers.  Flights will be on a first come, first served bases; approximately 20 minutes in length.  A parent or guardian MUST be present or provide a signed permission slip.

Young Eagles Aviation Day is part of the National EAA Young Eagles Program.  Local Chapter 55 pilots have flown over 4,000 youngsters from the mid-Michigan area.

All Chapter 55 events are held at Mason Jewett Airport; Eden Road @ Kipp Road (south of the Ingham County Fairgrounds).  Admission and parking for all events is FREE.  Donations benefit the Newberry Aviation Scholarship Fund.
